Lim Weixiang majored in Economics at the National University of Singapore and spent 5 years as a teacher with the Ministry of Education encouraging his students to chase their dreams before leaving the civil service to become a photographer in 2014.

Adept at a variety of photograpy styles, his work takes him from the studio into shipyards and construction sites, onto football fields and all across Asia. 

In 2019, he won the award for Best Sports Photo at the Singapore Sports Award organised by SNOC. His works have been exhibited at the National Museum of Singapore and at the Noorderlicht Photo-Festival in The Netherlands. 

His list of clients include the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Singapore Tourism Board, The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), EY Singapore, Keppel Shipyard, Wildlife Reserves Singapore, National University Hospital,  Adidas, Nike. 

Apart from photography assignments, Weixiang also teaches photography to students at Tanjong Katong Girls School, National Junior College and has been a mentor to budding young photographers on Objectifs' Junior Shooting Home Programme for the last two years.
